The Blue Grass State

 Describing The Blue Grass State

The Blue Grass state is one of the only commonwealths in the 50 United states. This state is a particular state because it’s a commonwealth. Commonwealths are special. Not like any old state. Also this state has some of the best thoroughbred horses there are because limestone is under the ground. Limestone is mostly calcium and the calcium get in to the grass and when the horses eat the grass the calcium gets into the grass and makes there bones stronger.

Were would you find The Blue grass?

The Blue Grass state is called the blue grass because of the wind in the spring blew the blossoms together and made the grass look blue. You would find this grass mostly in the Blue Grass region. Our state is one of the only places that has this grass. This is

a reason  this state is special. You can find it in the other regions too but there is more natural growing in the Blue Grass.

Example of Kentucky's "blue-grass."
